Purpose of the platform
OneSelf exists to help members understand their own biology — integrating biomarker data, wearable signals, and practitioner guidance into a coherent, personalised picture of their health.
The platform is a tool for health understanding. It is not a medical service, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional healthcare. Every interaction on the platform should be approached in that spirit.

Permitted uses
Members may use the OneSelf platform to:
- Access and interpret their own biomarker, wearable, and health data
- Ask OneSelf questions about their health signals and receive educational responses
- Connect with and communicate with assigned practitioners
- Attend OneSelf Live sessions and access the Learning Lounge
- Manage family plan members added to their account with appropriate consent
- Download and export their own health data for personal use

Prohibited uses
The following uses are not permitted and may result in immediate suspension:
- Sharing login credentials or providing access to your account to any other person
- Using the platform to provide medical advice to third parties
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract platform algorithms or data at scale
- Submitting false, misleading, or fabricated health data
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform
- Attempting to access other members’ data or accounts
- Using the platform for any commercial purpose without written permission from OneSelf
- Any use that violates applicable Australian law

Health information boundaries
Important
OneSelf provides health education and personalised data interpretation. It does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace your GP, specialist, or other healthcare professional.
Members must not use insights from OneSelf as the sole basis for significant medical decisions. If you receive information through the platform that causes concern about your health, consult a qualified healthcare professional before taking action.
Practitioners on the OneSelf platform operate within defined scope. Any care beyond that scope must be provided through your own healthcare relationships.

Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including using a strong password and not sharing access. OneSelf will never ask for your password.
Family plan members under 18 must be added by a parent or guardian who accepts responsibility for their use of the platform.
You must ensure the information you provide — particularly health data and biomarker results — is accurate. Inaccurate data produces inaccurate insights.

Content you share
Where the platform allows you to share written content — such as health journal entries, questions, or notes — you retain ownership of that content. By submitting it, you grant OneSelf a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing your service.
You must not submit content that is offensive, threatening, or designed to harm another person.

Enforcement
OneSelf may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy. In serious cases, we may report conduct to relevant authorities. We will provide notice of suspension where doing so does not compromise an investigation or the safety of another person.
We exercise enforcement judgement. Not every breach results in termination — we consider intent, severity, and history.
